Protect your Saiga-12, Kalashnikov USA KS-12, Vepr-12, or other AK-pattern 12-gauge shotgun with the TWS Buffer Tech Recoil Buffer – a simple, effective upgrade from Texas Weapon Systems. This precision-engineered recoil buffer installs directly onto the recoil spring guide rod, cushioning the bolt carrier group’s rearward travel to dramatically reduce felt recoil, minimize metal-to-metal battering, and extend the life of your firearm’s receiver, spring, and internals.
Key Features & Benefits:
- Superior Shock Absorption — High-quality polymer/rubber compound soaks up harsh 12-gauge recoil, especially from magnum or heavy slugs/buckshot loads.
- Reduces Component Wear — Prevents excessive beating on the receiver face and recoil spring assembly – ideal insurance when running hot ammo without adjusting gas settings.
- Drop-In Installation — No gunsmithing required; simply slide onto the guide rod in minutes. Compatible with stock or modified Saiga-12 setups.
- Improved Shooting Comfort — Noticeably softer recoil impulse for faster follow-up shots, less fatigue during high-volume range sessions, 3-gun, or tactical training.
- Maintains Reliability — Designed not to interfere with cycling when properly gassed; many users run mixed low/high brass loads with confidence.
- Made in USA — Trusted TWS quality, built to withstand the punishment of 12-gauge power.
Compatibility: Fits standard Saiga-12 (Izhmash), Kalashnikov USA KS-12/S12, Vepr-12, and most AK-pattern shotguns with tubular recoil spring guide rods. Perfect companion to TWS Dog Leg Gen-3 rail bundles for a fully upgraded tactical shotgun. (Note: Test with your specific ammo/gas settings; some users remove for very light low-brass loads to ensure flawless function.)
